Even before the onset of the new year, the state government released the calendar of key recruitment examinations scheduled to be held during the year to fill nearly one lakh vacancies in various government departments, he noted. Recruitment to more than one lakh posts has already been completed over the past two years, while the recruitment process for around 1.5 lakh additional posts is currently underway.

Referring to youth-focused initiatives, Governor Bagade said the Data Center Policy and AI Policy are equipping young people with skills for futuristic careers and emerging challenges.

Highlighting achievements in sports, he said Rajasthan’s youth have delivered encouraging performances, with students from a large number of universities excelling in the Khelo India State Youth Games.

Praising the state’s impressive performance at the Khelo India National Games held in Bihar, the Governor noted that Rajasthan secured a total of 60 medals, including 24 gold medals.

The Governor also highlighted the state’s remarkable achievements in industrial development and investment, stating that the government succeeded in securing investment proposals worth ₹35 lakh crore during the Rising Rajasthan Global Investors Summit 2024, of which projects involving investments worth ₹8 lakh crore have already reached the groundbreaking stage.

He added that the Rajasthan Refinery at Pachpadra is ready for the early commencement of commercial production.

In his nearly 80-minute address, Governor Bagade also called upon the members of the House to ensure meaningful and positive discussions on issues concerning the people, maintain the decorum of the Assembly, and utilise every minute of the House proceedings for raising and addressing public concerns.
